В неформальном греческом есть междометие "ρε", примерно похожее на русское "блин" по употреблению. Я задал вопрос о происхождении, и вот ответ с реддита:

μωρε is the vocative case of the word μωρός which meant moron in Ancient Greek. In modern Greek the word μωρός no longer exists but its vocative form does but with a different meaning. Another descendant of μωρός in modern Greek is μωρό which means baby. What I am trying to say is that the word μωρός meaning moron does not exist in modern Greek.

ρε is a short version of μωρε.

UPD: Английское moron происходит именно от него: Coined by psychologist Henry H. Goddard in 1910, from Ancient Greek μωρός (mōrós, foolish, dull).
